3rd outing in one month Question , and still not used anything bigger than 4.7m this year :->.

Brian was already on the beach & rigged-up when I arrived - his 4.7m sail on the Drops. I faffed around for a while, undecided between 4.2m or 4.7m., before eventually choosing the wrong one. I struggled with the 4.7m for a while, but the gusts were just stupid.

Changed down to 4.2m. TBH, it wasn't much easier in the gusts than the 4.7m: I was still way overpowered, yet at other times, I just couldn't get going.

Oddly few big waves, though being so overpowered, they were quite big enough (max ~1.5m faces). Also, unusually large spaces between the waves at times. Nice.

Could we please have it less gusty next time ??
